- Garden Party

The relaxed setting of the Garden Party allows members of the public the opportunity to purchase tickets for an area that provides reserved seating and is located a short walk to the finishing line. This area has grown in popularity since it began a few years ago and is one of the first areas to sell out at the Carnival. The Garden Party operates on both days of racing at the Carnival.

Tickets can be purchased individually or for tables seating 10 people, ideal for people wishing to enjoy a day at the Carnival together. Access to the area is limited only to those who have purchased a place in the Garden Party and patrons are able to enter and exit the area at their leisure, provided they are wearing the official wristband issued with tickets. The Fashions on the Field preliminary judging occurs adjacent to this area, and guests of the Garden Party have prime viewing of the catwalk as all entrants are judged.

Cost:               $110.00 per person per day

Booking Forms must be submitted to the Cairns Amateurs office by email, fax or post (no telephone bookings) in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the general information section. Bookings for this area will be taken from May 2008.
